Madras High Court ne Coimbatore ke Mariyamman temple ke paas church construction par stay order diya. Court ne bola ke Hindu majority ki strong opposition ko ignore nahi kiya ja sakta. Bench ne kaha area communally sensitive hai aur land revenue record bhi clear nahi hai. Interim injunction diya gaya, agla hearing pending hai. Political climate aur past riots ko bhi court ne note kiya.
